LLM-as-a-Coach: Experiential Learning for Non-Verifiable Tasks

Reinforcement learning (RL) on open-ended tasks compresses an LLM's rubric-based evaluation into a scalar reward, discarding rich textual feedback and conflating responses with distinct quality profiles.
