When Do Multi-Agent Systems Help? An Information Bottleneck Perspective
LLM powered multi-agent systems (MAS) have emerged as a promising paradigm for complex tasks. However, their advantages over single-agent systems (SAS) remain unclear, with performance varying inconsistently across settings.
