Statistical Non-linear Reconstruction Loss for Image Anomaly Detection
Reconstruction-based methods are a cornerstone of unsupervised image anomaly detection, but they remain vulnerable to \emph{outlier leakage}, where standard mean squared error (MSE) loss drives the model to faithfully reconstruct anomalous patterns.
